About Us
My name is Dan Harrington. In 2006, my wife Cindy and I purchased the Iron Mountain Gas Company and changed the name to UP Propane. The Iron Mountain Gas Company had been in business for 84 years, with a reputation for excellent service.
We've continued to build on this great reputation, and wish to remain a locally owned and operated propane company. Our staff is very professional and courteous, and we are always willing to listen and talk to our customers.
We have since expanded our business to cover 14 of the 15 Upper Peninsula counties, as well as Florence and Marinette counties in Wisconsin
Our Story
I was born and raised here in the U.P. in Ishpeming and my wife was born and raised in Iron Mountain. We have four children, Derek, Meagan, Caleb, and Daniel.
